About Us
Spacer Tech aims to provide every client and end-user with outstanding products and the highest possible level of support.
Noel Castle began his career in 1976 studying Mechanical Engineering then spent several years working for a large American company before starting his own business, Castle Equipment. His company is considered one of the top earth moving contractors in Western Australia, having worked on huge projects such as the Mandurah Rail, Harvey Dam, FMG Rail Project, Area C, the Kwinana Freeway and various BHP sites.
Ross Castle has been involved in the Mechanical Industry since 1996. He takes care of the technical side of Spacer-Tech Systems, having made the technical drawings of the product, and has extensive experience in all fields of mechanics from design, manufacture and testing to diagnostics.
Before patenting and launching the spacer onto the market, we tested the system extensively on our own truck fleet. The spacers were also used on wheel bearing assemblies for heavy haulage and earthmoving equipment which we fitted and monitored over a four year period. The results we obtained were exceptional and gave us confidence to continue to the next stage.
The spacer system can be designed to suit any taper bearing application and Spacer-Tech's revolutionary bearing system was considered for the Australian Design Awards because of its ease of use and special safety features.
Spacer Tech, having designed spacers and nuts to cover the majority of truck axles, are now designing spacers to cover the smaller axles found on light trucks.
